Well, it's all about what you see as a positive mindset. Yes thinking  and hoping you will win is a good thinking, but is that mindset, what is required to win?

Having the right thinking or mindset is not about hoping you will win but having the right attitude. Having a little money and betting with all the money without adequate strategic to think you will win is not the right attitude or thinking.  But, strategically analyzing the games and betting reasonably.

Some people think because they are broke, the market should favor them, they bet games with emotions and expect the game to go in their favor.
