with the performance of mancity and the nature of there games if care is not taken they make not qualify for UCL next season because if you take a look at the EPL table you see that we have about 3 to 4 club that is competition for the fourth place and there point difference is not much.
I really have my doubts, about Manchester city winning cryptal palace because judging from there performance when they played against Southampton, I noticed that the wingers are not doing there best in penetrating there opponent defence line.so I didn't use them in my bet.
FA Cup is almost nothing and it is not priority of Manchester City but in this failed season, winning a title like FA Cup is still good for their club. In a surprising way, they lost the FA Cup final match while their opponent is not too strong, just Crystal Palace.
This shocked defeat by Crystal Palace decorates this failed season more painful for Manchester City but hopefully it can boost them preparing better for a next season. They have issues with some old players but I believe that their bigger problems are from their tactics. It happened with Pep Guardiola and Barcelona years ago and after years of domination, Barcelona began their falling seasons that were reasons of Pep's departure from Barcelona. A next season will decide future of Pep Guardiola in Manchester City and I believe that if it continues to be a failed season, Pep will proactively leave this club.
It is true that Manchester city's performance this season calls for serious attention as it is giving a lot of their fans some serious concerns, but I am particularly not surprised because like I said before, every club or team have their time and Manchester city have enjoyed their time.
This season is almost gone, maybe next season will be their time again, no one can tell, but then, if they need to reinforce their team to better their chances, then it's a good thing.
Pep Guardiola was already given good money for player transfers in a winnter transfer season and surely he will be given more money for a next summer transfer season. A rebuiling process is on going but with Pep's style, he won't want to experience failures in a club after a long successful era and if he determinantly left Barcelona years ago, I believe that he will be able to do the same in Manchester City.
