I recently came across the news that Bill Gates plans to give away his entire fortune through his charity foundation over the next 20 years. It got me thinking, why would someone spend the majority of their life accumulating wealth only to give it all away in the end? I'm curious, do they truly give it all away, or is there something more going on behind the scenes?
This may be a personal preference because when the amount of money exceeds a certain level, it doesn't matter how big it is because they already get what they want and there is no higher. Therefore, it is normal for someone who will complete their life as rich to donate their money. After leaving a certain amount to their family, they can donate the remaining amount.
I think that even the amount they leave to their family is enough for a family to be rich. Since money is never hard to reach for some people, I don't think these people will have any problems with their decisions regarding money.
