Great to see you support this, too. It has been a while we have been talking, looking forward to my full set as well. Just received my piece of art from @ibminer as promised. Damn, collecting Bitcoin things or anything that is somehow related to it, is so much fun. Poker is my passion.

I have a relatively small collection of bitcoin/crypto-related stuff, and the reason you don't see me much in the Collectibles section is because if I hung around and browsed I'd most likely spend more money than I wanted to.  And I much prefer bitcointalk-related stuff, so that's why I couldn't pass up the chance to buy some of what ibminer is producing.

@The Sceptical Chymist are you playing? Let me know in PM and I am looking forward to receive my set. ibminer is doing a great deal here to support this fun.

Believe it or not, I don't gamble at all--nor do I even know how to play poker!  However, there are certain things that I find aesthetically pleasing, with casino chips and playing cards being among those.  I like the designs, the artwork, and the craftsmanship that goes into a lot of them.  I've always been frugal with my money, so gambling never appealed to me--but to each his own, right?

Noticed I had to edit my above post as the piece of art was not from @ibminer, but @bitbollo of course! Cheesy My bad, @ibminer you were confused I guess, but I can confirm here that my poker set safely arrived, thanks for that and if I have another idea that I think we'd both agree makes sense, I'll reach out to you.

@The Sceptical Chymist no reason not to believe what you are saying Wink Yes Bitcointalk-related stuff is awesome. I supported the art auction as I myself am into arts and I liked to support the whole cause especially since it involved paying with Bitcoin.

Exactly. Some people would think it is more of a child thing to have a soft spot for something like this poker set, but it absolutely isn't. Or maybe it is and it implicitly expresses the desire within us to remain a child to some degree Wink

So no round of poker between the two of us, but hopefully a longer conversation any time soon again.
