I think we won't see too many goals in the final. Each team has met twice in the knockout round. Even though they played badly in the first leg, they had a big chance to win the second leg. And because of that, each team played very attacking and we also saw a lot of goals. But there will be only one match in the final. No team will get a second chance. So both teams will try not to concede goals. However, if one team scores in the first 10 minutes of the match, there is a possibility of seeing a lot of goals. Both teams are strong. But I think the target for both teams in the first half will be to keep the defense strong.
This has been a trend of every Champions league finals in recent times. Of last 6 champions league finals, two were decided with 2 goals while rest were just won or lost by single goals. i.e. Just 8 goals in last 6 champions league finals. And both our finalist for the season Inter Milan and PSG have entered the finals one time each in last 6 seasons and lost 1-0.
For PSG it's a 2nd champions league final and they had lost in their last final appearance while Inter Milan had been to finals many times and won some of it, the last time they won the champions trophy was in 2010. Looking at the overall team performance and how these teams have evloved, I believe its time for PSG to win their champions league trophy for the first time. They have been one of the top European team for quite some times reaching many quaterfinals and semi finals, one final but never have lifted the trophy.
