Yeah, with regards to the topic it was what I mentioned in one of the threads on esports betting. I said there that betting on esports without having any knowledge about that Sports is betting blindly. And good thing you have reiterated it here. Unless you are testing it out knowing that even you don't have the knowledge and you would like likely lose your money then you can go ahead and gamble. If not, first get the knowledge of the sports and then go ahead to gamble. This even goes more than betting more than you can afford to lose.
Knowledge is essential for people that wants to go into sports betting, you need to understand analysis and odds, if not you'd be betting blindly. Casino games are quite different you don't need much knowledge to gamble on a slot machine but in sports bet there's need for a level of understanding. I can also agree that knowledge about sports bet is more important than the popular saying that we should use amounts that we can afford to loose to gamble. Without knowledge of what you want to bet your small money on it wouldn't make any sense so understanding is first before money.
