Now here's the million-dollar question, do you guys think that’s possible at this pace?
Right now the total market cap is around $2 trillion. So if we’re talking 10x, that means Bitcoin would be trading at $1 million per coin.
Sounds kinda wild, right? But do you think there's any chance this could happen in the next 5 years? Or is this just one of those crypto fairy tales we keep telling ourselves to sleep better at night?
it's not a dream that bitcoin mcap will be 20 trillion dollars. we'll just have to wait longer than the usual milestones for that. my estimate for the year is around 2032-2033, so i think we'll have to go through about 2 more bull periods for 1 bitcoin to be around 1 million dollars.
i have various reasons for this in my head, although it's not based on a huge foundation. it will happen as usage becomes widespread and big players want to acquire bitcoin ownership. it's just a guess, let's leave it here.
all i can say is that bitcoin has always surprised people, we have experienced the same thing over and over again all these years. we will experience it again.
