Trading and gambling can indeed share similarities, especially for those new to the market. It's easy to get caught up in the thrill of potential gains without considering the underlying risks. They have similarities in terms of risk, uncertainty, and emotions. While gambling is all about chance, luck, and immediate wins, trading is more about skill, long-term strategy, and informed decision-making.
Successful trading is less about luck and more about skill, discipline, and knowledge.
Very well then,I think people are trading as for gambling also because of the mindsets and how they participate in it.Based on my observations too, trading is no difference from gambling and it depends on the approach used.In other words, trading can be gambling if it's done without a proper knowledge, discipline and plan.
