IMO it is not about capitalization, it is about his approach, generally as a noob, you have to be receptive in order to build connections (which he is seeking) but he is currently in lecturing mode (starting phase ). You don't have to display your smartness but rather your ability to make genuine conversations which only comes via genuine curiosity.

What we have noticed lately os the inflow of newbies who sees high rank forum members as a threat to their existence here in the forum, but in realities, nothing make a different between a newbie and a legendary when knowledge sharing is the purpose of the community, since one can be a forum newbies, but a cryptocurrency guru before locating bitcointalk.

Or another instance is gambling, I jave seen newbies that are professional poker player's so what matters must is the ability to interact with other forum members helping others and also getting helped yourself.
