Barcelona losing wasn't really a shock considering they already won the league, so they just don't care about it at all, it just doesn't make sense for me to see them fight really hard to get a win. And when you are not putting your 100% in a game, even if you are Barcelona, you are not going to get a win, underestimating your opponent and forcing yourself to be this big isn't really that much of an important thing.
We could consider how this could be forced thing to make it work one way or another. I hope that we can see this changing for the long term, because they are going to keep losing because they are already great. Maybe they may win, if they are lucky, but I bet that they are not going to end up winning because they try hard.
It doesn't change the fact that they failed. I don't want us to use the narrative of already wining the league to think they intentionally lose that match. It was their home game and it's something they could have use as bonus but the defenders did a bad job else why wouldn't they win the match so Lewandowski can have many goals to beat Mbape as highest goal scorer to win the Golden booth, the Laliga isn't enough if they can't win the Golden booth.
Too funny that with all their effort, Lewandowski didn't have any goal despite playing for 70 minutes game, it's when they see that he is tired they now substituted him with another player and yet there nothing good at the end, they lost to Villarreal. If only they could hold them for another 10 minutes, the match would have ended as draw but as I said, the defenders did a very bad job and I'm not sure if Lewandowski can score 4 goals in their final match when he is not even fully recovered yet.
