Yeah if you look at it thoroughly, Man City has not been entirely poor this season, it’s just that they’ve set the standards so high that even a slight drop in form is a huge gap. If they win their next game tomorrow they’ll be just 3 points below Arsenal. This season they faced challenges and setbacks but they’re getting back in form, the fact they didn’t win anything isn’t an issue, most great teams often go a season without nothing, even Madrid this season is almost trophyless if not for the Super Copa.
Man City are known for doing well at the last minute, the remaining two games I’m sure it’s gonna be a win for them.
Not only that they’ve set a standard for themselves, should you take a look at the quality of players they’ve got on the team, then you would have more reasons to see their performance this season to be really poor. For a team that is used to taking the league just because they want to, turned out to be a team that is seriously fight for a UCL position on the league table, come on, what’s there to say.
They lost it this season but, they could be back in the next.
