This shift raises the question: is Bitcoin inherently right-wing now?
It can be explained in a different way. The problem lies not in Bitcoin, but with the political left. Most of the left now is advocating for totalitarian, communist like ideas that a very detrimental to the individual. Real liberals would be embracing Bitcoin without blinking, but the current left landscape is deeply corrupted in almost everything they stand for.
Whether it tilts permanently toward one side may depend less on the code and more on who shows up to shape the narrative.
If someone is against Bitcoin because it is mostly used by the other side of the political spectrum, they are just stupid and deserve everything negative that happens in their life.
