So far so good, I'm impressed with how African players have turned up for their various clubs this season. I've said a lot about Victor Osimhen already who recently won their Turkish Cup and should most likely win the league come Sunday if they win. Mo Salah could also end up as the premier league player of the year IMO with the recent nominations. Furthermore, the 30 years old Desser playing for Rangers is also the highest goal scorer for the Scottish league. The absence of Victor Boniface still bothers me. A massive change from last season. WYT?
Mo Salah has been in great form for Liverpool this season, and his goals and assists helped Liverpool beat their rivals in the race for the Premier League title this season, so I think Mo Salah is in a better position to win the Premier League Player of the Year than any other player. Victor Osimhen also helped Galatasaray to win the Turkish title, and Victor Osimhen overtook Mo Salah to become the African player with the most goals in the Turkish league, which is a great achievement for him and Nigeria. With the way some African players have performed for their respective clubs, it would be difficult to decide the next African player of the year.
