>well am no fan of Gambling, due to my experiences in the past, I decided I would quit gambling.
But just few months after I quit Gambling a friend of mine introduces Trading. I mean I was captivated. I really wanted to make money.
I wasn't really schooled in trading but i just followed what the others did , but along the line I've just realized that it is seemingly not different from gambling considering the fact that I've lost a lot of money.
Please, am I wrong in looking at trading this way?.
A lot of questions must be asked here, how long did you learn about trading before going into it? What strategies do you make use of? How long does it take you to draw trend lines and analyze your trades before placing them? Were you taught about risk management? Did you lose stop loss?..first of all, your mind is already messed up from gambling and what you needed was time to heal, going into trading was a wrong move.. there's a big difference between trading and Gambling but you went about it the wrong way
You need to address those factors that mostly affects your trading participation, and like you've said if you already engage with gambling you might mix them up and harm your finances, better to focus first to what you intentions and try keep working with knowledge and understanding before putting in your investment.
In trading you have good time frame to work with unlike with gambling just put your bet then wait for the outcome, if you lose then the money will be taken, with trading if your position is not favoring you just hold and wait there's a chance that it will bounce back and bring you decent benefits.
