Either way,
Arsenal should fight to sign Viktor Gyokeres, one of the strikers they need to boost their trophy chances next season. As Fabrizio Roma has said, Viktor Gyokeres is definitely going to leave, despite the player hinting that he will stay with Sporting CP next season. His market value is around £65m, and I think Arsenal would not have too much trouble in paying his release clause.
£65 million is too much. His stats this season are more than impressive he has scored 39 goals in 33 matches for Sporting. He would definitely be a great addition to Arsenal and could help a lot, but the question is whether he would have a similar season as he did at Sporting. Either way, i still think £65 million is a lot.
£65 million is not too much for a striker like Viktor Gyokeres because dude is so good compared to some players in the top 3 European leagues. Viktor Gyokeres scores in almost all Sporting Lisbon matches which is a very good potentials of a striker. If Arsenal signs Viktor Gyokeres, they will succeed because they will be sure that they have a striker who they can rely on just that he might find it somehow difficult in the early stages of the season but when he fully adapts to the team's style of play, he will do wonders. Just like Mbappe found it difficult to score goals when he newly joined Real Madrid, same thing can happen to Viktor Gyokeres but i believe he will fit in so well in the Arsenal squad. Don't sound like £65 million is too much for the striker, he worth it and even more.
