Resistance to lost profit syndrome (FOMO) can indeed be considered a trait of many long-term bitcoin holders. These investors, often referred to as "hodlers," deliberately avoid impulsive decisions despite the sharp fluctuations in the market. Their strategy is based on a belief in the long-term growth of bitcoin, rather than trying to capitalize on short-term price movements. This approach requires discipline and psychological resilience, because FOMO is especially strong in bull markets when others are actively buying. However, hodlers prefer to keep a cool head, ignoring noise and emotions. This does not mean that they are completely free from FOMO, but their actions are more focused on fundamental principles than on market hysteria. In this sense, bitcoin really fosters resilience to the syndrome of lost profits.
