Working on this years car makes no sense after Mclaren got this much ahead, teams know that the yare not going to do well, and there is really no reason neither because even sponsors and fans know that they should not expect much from this years car, so no team is excited aside from maybe Mclaren fans.

The real battle for me will be next year, because we are talking about shuffling the whole system and build a whole new car. I am not expecting Haas to be the best for example, that requires money, and resources, which Haas do not have. But I do expect the top teams, Mclaren, Ferrari, Red Bull and Mercedes, all have a chance to be best car next season, and that alone is fun enough, because we have no clue which one will be the best.
