Yamal is really on a whole different level. You know what to do and where to hit, but you can't stop him. It was the same in today's Villereal match, it's the same in every match. Barcelona's defense left a lot of gaps today, so some of Hansi Flick's decisions were questioned after the match.
Villereal did little and concise, they won the victory with 3 shots on target and 3 goals. We can say that Villereal changed the balance in the league with the victory it got. I mean, there was a bit of a sense of comfort that Barcelona would be the champion, after all we had won, but the match ended in a draw.
I can’t find the right words to describe Yamal, his talents has gone beyond unrecognizable and has made him the best talent to look out for this season and even the next. Barcelona are looking very dangerous this season but still need to strengthen a bit in defense for the coming season. This season they scored many goals and gave out many too.
Right now Lamine Yamal is far far above his peers in age, the lad is so much talented, he brings back the football style we’ve forgotten, he has the Ronaldinho and Neymar flair, Unafraid to take on defenders, key passes and has mastered the art of Trivela and this is just his first full season as a starter. Last season while he was still sharing the wing with Raphinha, he made it that Raphinha lacked playing time, to an extent I’ll say he helped improve Raphinha, who is already a hard worker and a serious baller, his crazy runs and shot accuracy became evident since he moved to the right wing. A blessing in disguise.
Today I’m hearing that Barcelona wants to give Lamine Yamal the no.10 jersey, I don’t think they should rush into this, let the pressure of the number not weigh him down , I’ll prefer they give it to Dani Olmo if he’s staying. Lamine is not yet 18 and such a responsibility might be too much . We don’t want another story of Ansu Fati, even the Great Messi played wearing 19 before the legendary 10.
Barça should allow the lad grow into it.
