The most important thing in gambling is to stop at the right time, but most people do not know when to stop. A gambler makes a profit by gambling, but there is no guarantee that he will win later, and those who can take a break and start again at that time will have a higher chance of success.

I completely agree with what you say, but if there is a way to stop, and that is if our money says so, if we have money willing to lose, then that is where we will have the limit , there we must stop, for me that is what works, but for the rest everyone applies what they can and want, I recommend what works for me and because I have experience applying it.

In practice, I think nobody actually knows when they are supposed to stop, they only try to guess when they need to do so before the house edge starts to work against them and their money start to get onto the hands of the casino. In reality, it would take someone to know the future in order to stop at the exact moment when they can capitalize their gambling session the most. In that sense, gambling has some similarities with trading, where people are also required to try to guess when they need to stop, open and close their positions in order to capitalize as much money as possible from the market.

If something works for you, then it won't necessarily works for others because not all gamblers have the same level of patience and greed when they engage in gambling.
