Bringing that hope that luck will permits and allow us to win, from that mentality a gambler will soon develop engagements and will start to lust for more, where limitation might exceed to expected timeframe and allocated budget, if you can't handle the pressure it will push to uncontrolled addiction and that's most of the time the cases of those gamblers who loses everything and ruined not just their own life but also those that sorrounds them.
Sometimes the desire to continue more and more is what makes the addiction become more terrible, that turns into anxiety and that is what makes everything get out of control, I am not a psychologist but I would say that when there is addiction the person has to engage in a physical activity that makes them get very tired, I don't know, swimming, running, playing football, boxing , something that demands their body and they would be attacking the addiction and getting in Shape and in good Health, it is not bad.
