I don't adjust my gambling budget based on wins or loses, I adjust it based on my income at anytime, I use percentage to determine the bankroll. I can increase the budget for gambling if my income increases, likewise if my income decreases I'll reduce the bankroll. Since I earn weekly I natural make budget provisions weekly, the bankroll will take me throughout the week, if I exhaust it within a day or two I won't gamble for the rest of the week. Budget is the main basis to be called a responsible gambler because that is what you have a control over as a gambler.
Well, adjusting the budget based on wins and losses makes just as much sense. For example, if you win a big prize, you can withdraw part of it, leaving only the initial deposit. Overall, the budget for gambling is too individual a matter, and I think there is no universal advice.
