I don't know why it's always a balance with teams that score too many goals, I mean their back seems to be always open and they concede alot which is not very good although it brings out the very best because it's like competition when they concede more goals but if they find the balance to have a strong defense line they would be far above most of the teams in la Liga even the giant Real Madrid.
Well, yeah, it turns out that both Real Madrid and Barcelona experienced it worse. The number of goals they conceded was 39 and 38, which is much more than Atletico Madrid who only conceded 30 goals and also Athletic Club who only conceded 26 goals. So, defense is indeed homework for both clubs.
If we really want to make a comparison between the number of goal productivity, then in the end we also have to bring the total goals scored by Barcelona and Madrid this season.
okay maybe in terms of defense they are not too good because Atletico and Bilbao are more difficult but in terms of attack quality of course Barcelona and Madrid are much better than both of them.
Look at the total goals scored by Atletico and Bilbao this season and compare it with Madrid we will see a clear gap why until now Barcelona and Madrid are always considered big clubs compared to other clubs in La Liga.
Currently the quality of Madrid and Barcelona's attacks does look great but it also backfires where they always focus on attack which actually makes them shaky in terms of defense because they are unable to anticipate fast counterattacks that are carried out but that is not a problem I think because seeing what is happening now especially Madrid who are starting to recruit several players indicates that they are aware of their weaknesses and want to try it next season.
