I, even though being overly active on stake in the past month and so, received no promo emails for maybe months now. Never sports a promo, never a casino promo, not even like 10$ or something. And obviously I have plenty of history in both sections.
It's really strange, I often don't even get the regular promotion emails (without the bonus). And yeah, I checked if I clicked the box that allows them to send me promotional stuff.
Bonus offers may be random and the Stake have their own way of choosing who to offer them to. Not for everyone - of course it is possible, but that's how it works so it's impossible to claim fairness. Regular gamblers basically never expect to get a bonus - but they tend to expect to win a bet. I don't know if some of the gamblers are really chasing bonuses or just gambling as usual - but accepting a bonus offer can be a good marketing strategy from the casino.
