It is a very interesting race so far for champions league qualification, for a long time this spots have always been decided before the end of the season but this time it has lingered until the final week. Who is going to finish in the top 5? I think Manchester City will get 3rd place though and Newcastle and Chelsea 4th and 5th.
What we are witnessing in the league this season is one of the reasons why EPL stands as the best among the rest and this season the race for champions League qualification has increased with so many other clubs rising to get their place as they drag position with the big teams even as they have overtaken down of the then big teams.
The last match is going to be tough and some teams may lose their position due to the outcome of the results, Manchester City's position is not secured yet because they are playing from away against Fulham United we are uncertain about the outcome of the game so their position is still open since Newcastle United and Aston Villa will be having weak opponents, Chelsea's position so far is also uncertain cause Nottingham Forest can defeat them to take their position.
It would seem obvious to everyone that Manchester City can beat Fullham, but just because of the pressure and the end of the season in general, things may not go the way they think they will. I think Manchester City will qualify for the Champions League next season, but whether they will stay in third place I don't know.
