My prediction is the following -
1st Liverpool
2nd Arsenal
3rd Man City
4th Newcastle
5th Chelsea
I think the only one that has some doubt is 5th place because if Chelsea drop points away at Nottingham Forest which could happen, then Aston Villa would finish 5th if they win away at Old Trafford.
I've the same thought. I think Manchester City and Newcastle United will win their matches to secure a spot for next season's Champions League, but I'm not sure about Chelsea. Nottingham Forest has good home records, they've lost only four matches at home, and I'm skeptical if Chelsea will be able to defeat them at the City Ground. Villa could win against United because of their poor form. If this happens and Chelsea loses or draws, Villa will qualify.
I have a strong feeling that Nottingham forest will do anything possible in their powers to win Chelsea. I know it is not an easy task, it is just like a war. But I think it is more fair for Nottingham Forest to make it to the champions league. They have occupied it found themselves in the top 4 for so long, now that the chances have been extended to 5, they deserve a slot.
It would have been nice if Manchester United will lose their last match in order to favour Nottingham Forest. But since Manchester United lost to Tottenham, I think they would be playing with more aggression against Aston Villa.
