Gambling addict has been a problem of most gamblers. Most gamblers started simple but end up becoming an addict. This develops gradually until they become fully addicted. Gambling addiction progresses are in three main stages: the winning stage, the losing stage, and the chasing/desperation stage.

Winning stage: Gambling addiction starts off with the alluring winning stage, where everything seems perfect, and you are winning more often than you are losing. It's easy to get hooked at this stage, because of the thrill of winning, and the gambler still believes that they are in control. However, this stage is usually short-lived.
Losing stage: Losing stage follows after the winning stage. Here, you start to lose significant amounts of money, but since you know what it’s like to win, you continue to gamble, believing that the next win must be just around the corner.
Chasing/desperation phase: This is when you have lost so much money that you will do anything to win it back. This may involve lying to friends and family members, borrowing or stealing money in order to gamble, and chasing your losses. By this stage, it is extremely difficult to quit, since the gambler is in so much financial ruin that they are desperate for money.

CONCLUSION: Gambling may be a great problem if adequate measure isn't take. One should just to observe himself/herself for necessary changes in case one observed he/she is gradually becoming an addict.

Everybody knows what is involve in gambling that is either you win or you lose and one should try to stay off whenever they see they are not making progress and then gamble wisely whenever they are seeing progress ( profit). Everything starts from the heart/mind, anyone who is an addict has already planned to be one because it doesn't just happen rather it is one who gives himself or herself to that and a discipline person will always have a limit of when to start and when to stop and make sure he doesn't exceed it.
All these stages are being experienced by each addicted gambler, but the fact remains that because of the love of money at the first stage, they tend not to have control of themselves and are carried away with the consistent wins which they feel will continue like that always which makes it difficult to retrace their step and they move to the next level and finally gets to the last stage where it has now becomes very difficult to control or quit.
You are not suppose to allow your wins to control you instead you control your wins and your life as a real gambler because you know that the wins will end soon and you will now be faced with losses stage, at that time you are to set your limits in time and bankroll so that you will not be carried away by your emotions.
