It has come to my notice that 90% of all the decisions made or taken when one is angry is never a good one.
It is more like 100% of decisions made during anger are bad compared to any viable alternative if they exist for that specific situation.
Making decisions when you’re angry is like driving through a storm. You can’t see clearly & you’re more likely to crash. Anger clouds judgment, narrows your focus & pushes you towards short term reactions instead of long term solutions. You might say or do something you’ll regret, just to feel better in the moment. Wait until you’ve cooled down, clarity comes with calm.
Better yet, don't get angry to begin with. Many doubt, but it is possible. Anger is a learned behavior that acts like a habit, and it is possible to limit how often it comes up.
never but it’s not just when you are angry i think all extreme emotions can be damaging when you are too happy or too excited you might do things you didn’t think much through so after you have calmed down you might end up rethinking your choices
so avoid making decisions when you are feeling any extreme emotions
It is very similar, it will just lead to different kinds of effects usually. I agree, you should not make decisions when you are emotional.
