Btw Imagine Chelsea, United, and City all missing out on UCL football and going trophyless. Grin

I heard that Man United's failure to appear in the UCL will result in a fine from Adidas.  Man United will have to pay the equipment provider Adidas £10 million. This is because they will miss 2 years in Europe. United's agreement with the German manufacturer states that they cannot spend consecutive years outside the top European tournaments. This condition seems to be a new financial burden, this problem seems to have happened but only 1 year during the Sir Alex Ferguson era in 2014/15.

Yep. Penalized for missing out on lucrative sponsorship deals and with £373M in losses over five years and £1B in debt, United faces a detrimental financial crisis. They're actually financially fucked. Huge wages for players, big debts (not including for new stadium), and UCL money.
Awful position to be in and it’s brilliant cause they’ve done it to themselves. lol
Huge transfer fees - Casemiro, Antony, and Hojlund come to mind, and massive wages off the back of that too. Pray for United's survival!
