In 2013, I developed a payment gateway for Bitcoin. It was open source. It may still be in use today. I earned nothing from it.
So in the end, I was early. But my fear of government intervention cost me the opportunity to achieve wealth beyond my wildest dreams. I see things differently now. I take risks.
For me it's better late than never and if we're being honest, you weren't late like you said. It's always okay to have some fears about something and you experienced the jitters like every other person who up until the inception of Bitcoin in 2008 didn't know that there could be something to be used as a means of payment that's not fiat.
Good thing you're taking risks because nothing worthwhile comes easy.
