Of course, meme coins have great potential for short-term price increases, but the problem is that beginners tend to buy meme coins when they are sold by those who bought them at the very start. So by trading meme coins, you put your deposit at great risk.
So you are saying that it is better to participate in pre-sales or the likes, right? But there must also be risks here. What if the meme coin is a scam? Or won't be listed anymore? But for us to have more chance, we can also observe some things and do investigations. Between, the one I said there seems for investors only but for traders, they need to buy coins which are listed already in order for them to start trading immediately.

So it seems that we have no choice at all except if we will only avoid meme coins. BTC is still better than meme coins anyway for all of us. As long as we are good with trading, earning high from memecoins is also possible which means that you never need to depend only on bitcoin for making profits from trading. I do trade bitcoin against stablecoins.

It is enough to re-read the message that you quoted, especially the part that I have highlighted just now, to understand that trading meme coins is not for everyone. As for buying a meme coin at the very beginning, I meant that this is possible if you have connections in the project team or are part of it. Well, for example, if you were the son of Donald Trump and you knew about the plans to launch the TRUMP, then you would obviously be able to buy this token at a minimum price and then sell it at a high price.
