I heard that Man United's failure to appear in the UCL will result in a fine from Adidas. Man United will have to pay the equipment provider Adidas £10 million. This is because they will miss 2 years in Europe. United's agreement with the German manufacturer states that they cannot spend consecutive years outside the top European tournaments. This condition seems to be a new financial burden, this problem seems to have happened but only 1 year during the Sir Alex Ferguson era in 2014/15.

I read that too and I began to fill pity for Manchester United because giving financial restraints and losses they must have been battling with these years of downfall they must have really been dependent on winning this Europa League trophy and failed, now it has come to the extent of putting almost all if not all of their first team players on sale.
