I was thinking about how acquiring skills like cryptocurrency trading has helped a lot of individuals out of poverty, so I was wondering if subjects like cryptocurrency trading or Forex trading are introduced into curriculum of students, will that not have a direct impact on the economy of the country by reducing the number of people dependent on the government for a job?
No.. introducing trading in institutions is a bad idea.
75% of traders are on loss only few have been successful in making profit over the years.
Approximately 6.8% of the global population are into forex or crypto trading, imagine introducing 30% into that line what do you think we happen if not abject poverty. Trading has high risk, so it is for young ones or those in higher institutions to be introduced to it while still studying it will have a negative impact in their live and education.
I also do not buy the idea of teaching trading in schools because many of these students will treat trading like gambling and end up losing even more. I understand that some schools now teach financial literacy, which includes a savings culture. Crypto investment should be taught to students instead, if the government truly wants to reduce the level of unemployment and youth dependency.
Truth be told, most citizens living in poor countries are surviving because of their investments in crypto, Bitcoin especially. If these students learn how to invest properly, they will make good investment decisions as they grow.
Whether we like it or not, we can't hide crypto from them. They will still learn anyway, although they might end up learning from the wrong sources.
