Do you know that there are tokens with better use cases and community still under $1? Let me know what you think about some great and well doing tokens that has been shadowed by the big guys?
Honestly buying a token just because it's priced below $1 is a huge misconception because if you want to invest you should look at the token or coin by the FDV.

A coin can be priced 0.01 but if the total supply is 100 billion it's pretty much overpriced.
This is also why newbie often gets misled by the pricing scheme of a token, the developers intentionally make the total supply huge to create illusion of the coin being cheap.
I have gotten into serious troubles that cost me a lot of money because of the mistake of trying to chase token that is less than $1. I have learnt never to do that ever again because it is a big mistake. There was when I even bought many low cap tokens thinking I was diversifying, my hope being that if one or two of them pump I will be able to recover my investment and make profits. I learnt a painful lesson and I will never repeat that mistake again because I lose almost everything.
