I’m not a fan of the mint for releasing a maker’s coins without permission or the seller who is profiting from someone else’s work.
The coins should have been returned to Smoothie or destroyed imo.
I agree! If smoothie wanted them released he would have done so. If smoothie gave permission and doesn't care thats a different story, but as someone who makes coins I would not want my items being sold this way
MrMojoRising26, I can see it this way. Let me state that I attempted various methods countless times to contact Noah himself regarding these coins, but to no avail. I also think it is a sin for them to be lost or forgotten to history. I had no guarantee that I would ever be able to see those coins again or contact Noah. So, I did what I think many of us would do: I took the opportunity to obtain them while I had the chance. In this respect, I have no guilty conscience, and if someone were to do this to, say, my coins, I would understand.
I was prepared for people's reactions to this. I've been holding these coins for almost a year now. I know many will disagree on this only looking at it at face value. Although, I have a very strong feeling 99% of collectors here whether they’d like to admit it or not, if given the opportunity, would have done the same. It was out of the love of the hobby. These coins are Noahs, they shouldn't exist, but they do🙌
You’re not saving or collecting them, you’re profiting from auctioning them. You continue to show you’re in this hobby for profit. Personally, I won’t ever support you or any of your endeavors.
