Looks like Napoli is really close to singing 2 players.
kevin de Bruyne and jonathan David can sing for Napoli really close.

Looks like their president is trying everything to keep Conte, who manifest the interest in going away.

The deal is still not confirmed, his contract will expire next month, still 1 month in his hands for exploring new opportunities & making the final decision. On the other hand, Conte was promoted to UCL after winning the Serie A cup, now he needs to rebuild his squad and search for some fresh blood for the upcoming UCL challenge.
De Bruyne could be a good asset for Conte, since he has potential experience and playmaking skills.

On the other hand, Bruyne already expressed huge interest for Napoli cause, his compatriot Romelu Lukaku inspired him a lot. he is ready to discuss about his 2-year contract with Napoli.

If you talk about Jonathan David, his move is still uncertain. This canadian striker is set to leave Lille as a free agent, he has already connected with Napoli, Juventus, Inter Milan, Liverpool, and Barcelona. I've heard a rumor that Napoli is offering him a 5 year contract, but I haven't heard any progress to finalize that offer. While Bruyne's move to Napoli seems to be very progressing, David's future destination is still undecided

It would be good to have De Bruyne around in Europe for some moire time. At first I thought he would choose to play in Saudi Arabia as there were already talks I think. He is going to turn 34 this summer, I assume he would get a 2 years contract at maximum or maybe some crazy offer from Saudi Arabia can still change his mind.

By the way Napoli has the second oldest team and adding more old players is probably not the best strategy unless they can get someone like De Bruyne I cheaply, but I doubt he will be cheap.

Inter Milan has an average age of around 29 years, time for them to act and bring in some new young players. It doesn't sound very promising for the future if players are almost 30 years on average.
