Liverpool is really robbing Leverkusen.

They started with Frimpong and now they are about to finalize the deal with Wirtz. Both of them have looked very keen on signing for Liverpool.
Xabi Alonso has left in the first place of course. I thought maybe he would like to see some of his stars at Real Madrid. But it doesn't look like they will make an offer. I'm curious about how Erik ten Hag's squad will be.
Something I didn't expect actually happened to Leverkusen. Indeed, we don't know how good Leverkusen will be for next season after Xabi left the team. But I really don't expect Ten Hag to replace him.
Some players left, maybe Ten Hag will also bring some players he likes to Leverkusen. Like he did at United.
Is it possible that Leverkusen will continue the competition with Munich next season?
What made Leverkusen strong under Xabi Alonso was that he managed to please all of his players and act like a team. Ten Hag has zero communication skills and I doubt that he will ever be able to compete with a team like Bayern. It's clear that Leverkusen's team will not have the same quality as Bayern, but with a superior spirit they can still achieve a lot and this spirit depends a lot on coaching and communication skills. Quite disappointing that Leverkusen decided to give that freak a chance. Maybe it is also a sympathy thing, but in my opinion he was one of the worst coaches out there. I know he has some successes to his name, but if the goal is to build something great and not have short term success, he is not the right guy for it.
