How does this work in your country, and what would you do with your coins in the event of a divorce?
In my country, only legal marriages that's conducted in the law court which marriage process is known or be court marriage that only grants spouse the privileges of owning portions of their spouse when they breaks out of marriage. So since the court binds them together in a documentary, so also it's required to follow the due legal process of the court when seek for divorce and until then the divorce appeal is granted will be the recourse of couples adhering to inheritance after divorce. So it's not an acknowledgement practice by any other form of marriage that's no legally backed by the legal jurisdiction.
As for what I'll do with by bitcoin, thank God for the invention of decentralization, women now are more of selfish interests and That's why they bargains on contract marriages so, somewhere in the future, they could file a divorce case just to get share my belongings with me.
So on that course, I'll have most of my assets stored in bitcoin specially holding on decentralized where I won't be traced of all my wealth because I can't afford to world heartedly and have to share them with someone that didn't contribute to the success.
So as the decentralized blockchain implies, so also I'll hold my digital assets secretly without my wife's knowledge. Maybe I'll consider having a corporative wallet with her where we could be storing our funds together and that'll be the only ideal of her about my digital assets.
