Marseille is fond of mocking their fellow Ligue 1 rivals when it comes to European football. When Manchester United knocked out Lyon from the Europa League competition, when Marseille and Lyon met in Ligue 1, Marseille fans were chanting Harry Maguire's name in the stadium just to provoke Lyon and remind them they were knocked out of the Europa League because of Harry Maguire's late goal against them.

Marseille and its supporters seem to be quite fond of provoking the anger of its rivals. However, for now it is not the time for them to ignite the fire of hostility towards its rivals. We all know that it has been a long time since a French team has won the Champions League, and so far only PSG has been able to go further in the Champions League competition, therefore I hope that all supporters can give their support so that PSG can win the Champions League trophy this season. Because after all, winning the Champions League title this season for PSG is very important to be able to raise the existence of the French League 1 again.
Marseille and PSG are bitter rivals, and I doubt if Marseille will support PSG to beat Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final and bring the UEFA Champions League trophy to France this season. With the kind of mockery attitude Marseille showed Lyon when they were knocked out of the UEFA Europa League by Manchester United and the Champions League trophy they brought out when they were playing against PSG, Marseille will want PSG to lose the final to Inter Milan so that they can keep reminding PSG they are yet to win the UEFA Champions League trophy.

It will be very scary for a team not to support their co team in an International tournament like the Champions League or the Europa League because it's all for the benefit of their country. Just like when Manchester United and Tottenham reached the Europa League final, other England teams were happy for both teams because they knew that one of them will bring the trophy to England and Tottenham won it so i wonder why Marseille will be hateful when Lyon lost out of the Europa League and still wish for PSG not to win the Champions League. I know that clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona also used to have that rivalry hateful behavior against each other but i think the hate is reducing. Though most of these behaviors are associated by fans actions and not literally between clubs and the other. Instead of any team to be unhappy for other teams that are experiencing success, why not they also put in more efforts to also succeed and feel same way as those successful clubs.
