Don't you think Bitcointalk is a community? Also, they may consider their users as a community. Since the users of this website is basically adding the new websites, and they will be able to suggest updates like, site down, closed or other updates, of course they can claim themself as a community driven service. Or maybe I am getting it wrong? Maybe lol. These days I can't figure out anyone anymore.

For example if I visited the site the previous week and I visit it again today , there should be about 30sites/projects added.

Actually that's a good idea. The Cave0x team should consider including the date of adding a site to their platform. As well as a option to sort out the sites according to older to newer and visa versa.
