Losing Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia is about as bad as it can get and I agree, I thought Inter Milan has this.
What won the title was the consistency in bringing home small advantage, one goal advantages. You can see that from their statistics. 59 goals and you wouldn't think they can be the champion in a league with a few very good teams, not least Inter Milan.
82 points is well played, but seeing how Inter Milan did in the CL and beat many teams that were considered favorite against them, I thought this is their season.
It began to turn when they lost against AC Milan at home in the Coppa Italia. Now what seemed to be a perfect season for them, could become a horrible ending. No Serie A, no Coppa Italia and thinking about how good PSG is, it could certainly end without the CL title.

Imagine to lose 2 LC finals in three years
Inter is currently balancing on the edge between a good season and a terrible season. If they win the Champions League, it will be Italy's first title since Mourinho, but if they lose, it will be a titleless season. Plus there is another point that if they lose to PSG on the 30th, it will not be perceived as “losing to the clear favorite”, but will be perceived as missing a clear opportunity to win the coveted title. All this must be putting pressure on the Inter players now.
