Against the odds, but it's not that they were complete underdogs. We have cases in past when format of final four played huge favor for underdogs. But when it comes to Fener, if they would play best of 5 seeies with Pao, Oly or Monaco, their chances would be high enough.
That's true, besides, they had around 25 mil euros budget and were among the top 5 of this year's competition. You can't say that was such a surprise. But playing the semi-final against the previous Champions, they were the underdogs. Playing against Monaco wasn't.

What are you talking about, easy win. They were down 9 in the 1st quarter, they were down 9 in the 2nd quarter, they were up 3 after the 3rd and only pulled away in the 4th to seal the deal. That is in no regard an easy win!
The 11 point difference is only free throws where they made 22/26 compared to 11/14 . 17 of those free throws came in the 4th quarter. These stats are actually crazy for me. 17 ft for 10 fouls committed while Monaco get 6 ft for 8 fouls committed.
Easy win he says.

I couldn't agree more. The final point difference doesn't reflect the difficulty of the game. At first glance, it seemed like an easy game, but it wasn't, and if someone reads the numbers correctly will understand it. The crucial period was the 3rd, in which Fener gave it all and had the "luck" to complete in a great percentage their strategy. As for the fouls, as I said earlier, I don't want to drag this matter into it. I'm sure though, that if the same statistic were the other team around, Saras will argue the refs and the EuroLeague until now...
