I don't know but it really seems this is a season for the underdogs. Some few break throughs were achieved by some teams that we thought wouldn't have. Newcastle surprised us by beating Liverpool to win the Carling cup, Bologna shocked AC Milan and defeated them in the Coppa Italia final. Harry Kane ended his 16 years without a trophy to finally win one and add his name among trophy winners. Crystal Palace against all odds beat Manchester City to lift their first ever major trophy, Son finally lifted his first ever trophy with Tottenham after so many years of waiting. Season of the underdogs, well expect Bayern Munich, lol.
Though if on the underdog season you meant wining the big trophies it might not be underdog season because is only on the champions League we saw an underdog about to win it but in premier league is Liverpool and they're not one, French league is also not one because of PSG, however we could have even consider to remove champions league running teams as an underdog because they are not underdog of there various leagues but we are going to presume them as an underdog because they a bit of low profile on the champions league. Perhaps the underdog season we witnessed this season was on those sub leagues we saw them won but truly the underdog didn't play like one this season because of how impressive they challenged.
