Due to the increased attacks on cryptocurrency holders in many parts of the world, I'm beginning to have a change of mind about telling people my activities especially with bitcoin. Bitcoin was created for P2P purposes so I will try to keep it that way for my safety because money changes people. Before we had the passion of telling people about bitcoin, we even shared that knowledge on social media but now I don't see myself doing that because of the risk it portends.
I've been in this bitcoin community for a long time despite this I still feel very much uncomfortable engaging in very private conversation about Bitcoin particularly when it's relates to my bitcoin holding. I could join in when the conversation is about a general news but I do not try to individualize it to myself because you never know who has something against you and it's looking for a means to steal what you have. Privacy is no anxiety.
