Did I read the instruction incorrectly? I thought each time there was a bid within the last 10 minutes, it added another 10 minutes section onto the auction for that lot?
So 5pm EST became 5:10, then 5:20, 5:30, ect until the next 10 minute section goes by without a bid? Since instructions didn't say 10 minutes from last bid...

goldlyre last bid was today at 5:16:33, and yours came in at 5:29:43, so more than 10 minutes had passed between the two. Therefore, the winner is goldlyre.
I understand this rule might not have been completely clear, so I’ll make sure to explain it better in the next auction to avoid any confusion.
