Something I didn't expect actually happened to Leverkusen. Indeed, we don't know how good Leverkusen will be for next season after Xabi left the team. But I really don't expect Ten Hag to replace him.
Some players left, maybe Ten Hag will also bring some players he likes to Leverkusen. Like he did at United.
Is it possible that Leverkusen will continue the competition with Munich next season?

It's still surprising that Leverkusen hired Manchester United former manager after Xabi Alonso left his position, I never expected it because he is the same manager that destroyed Manchester United. We've seen Bayern Leverkusen perform well over the previous two seasons under Xabi Alonso, but now that the position has been handed over to Ten Hag, we are not sure what will happen next season. Perhaps Bayer Leverkusen thinks Ten Hag is their best option because the manager has a history of winning trophies.

However, Ten Hag first season with Leverkusen may be difficult because most of the key players will leave before the next season. If Ten Hag wants to bring his former player to Leverkusen, I think he should help Manchester United by signing Onana as their goalkeeper. Manchester United would love it if he can get Onana out of the club, as they are going to sell him after failing to win the Europa League.
Since Erik ten Hag has been in charge of Manchester United, Manchester United has been doing poorly and at one point Manchester United was forced to sack him, so naturally he has a negative reputation in the transfer market, but we can see that Leverkusen has appointed Erik ten Hag as their team manager. I really don't understand why Leverkusen handed over the responsibility of their team to ten Hag when there are so many managers. It is said that one of the architects of Manchester United's destruction is ten Hag, now he may work with Leverkusen again and it may be that under him Leverkusen is ending the season with the same bad results as Manchester United.
I still can’t understand why Bayer Leverkusen skipped Erik Ten Hag as manager after Xabi Alonso. Because he had a very bad career at Manchester United. He had problems with all the players he transferred. He couldn’t get along with a star like Cristiano Ronaldo. Also, the players he transferred couldn’t be used at Manchester United, they were used at the teams he went to. The latest example of this is Antony. Before him, Jadon Sancho, who had a good season at Borussia Dortmund, can be given as an example. I don’t think he could use young players efficiently. That’s why I think Leverkusen made a risky choice.
