If a person buys aggressively because he thinks the bitcoin has dipped and he acquires aggressively while expecting bitcoin to turn back up, bitcoin could still dip further because it is self determinant. When this happens, such investors gets discouraged anday sometimes sell at loss.
Typical investors would not be discouraged in situations like this, no they won't. Because they have an in-depth knowledge of how the bitcoin market works. They know that you can't always get the right amount that the market will dip to, so any level of dip they were able to buy aggressively is okay for them. Even if the market dips further, it won't bother an investor who is in for the long term. As prospective investors or amateur investors, you have to understand that you can hardly predict or know the level of dip that will occur in the market at any given time.

You need to start developing that mentality that any price you caught the dip is your entry price and your entry price and that of others can never be the same. What now matters is how long you intend holding your bitcoin. Because as investors we already know that over time bitcoin will rise back and cross whatever entry price we bought. If as an investor, bitcoin dipped below your entry price in a bearish market and you gets discouraged and sometimes sell at loss, you haven't started. You are worse than traders, because even traders will have the common sense that they need to hold for a while for bitcoin to at least get back to their entry price.
