Being able to play in the CWC is still something special especially for 40 years old player. Also, he can help FIFA to boost the ticket sales, too. Even though CWC is not as big as the world cup, but it still being considered by a major trophy after FIFA world cup.
I see it as Ronaldo's strong reason to keep his existence even in the top competition of club's level. There's nothing wrong for him to wish he can play again in CWC.
Ronaldo refuses to grow old, this is appropriate for us to give him because even though most of his peers have retired, he is still able to play at a good level even though overall there has been a decline due to the effects of age. Helping FIFA to boost ticket sales, isn't this excessive? Ronaldo still has ambitions to play in the Club World Cup because he thinks he still has the ability and it is the club where he plays that might benefit financially. But whatever happens, I am happy if in the end Ronaldo returns to play in Europe and of course this will be interesting.
Ronaldo shows to us how he never gets old, and always appreciate how he always put football as a part of his life. He never gave up to his age, and keep try so hard. Eventhough many blamed his ambition, but i can really understand his intention.

The man is simply not the same with other player in level and that's why he continues to stride and show off this level of football professionalism and if indeed he lands a another club and is able to play in the world cup then I won't be suprised if he shows us something special in the competition because the man has a thing for top European competition, my only regrets is that he wasn't able to lead Portugal to the world cup finals stages and maybe probably secure it but all he same he is simply an elite just like his fellow counter part Leo Messi.
