ASEAN All-Stars  ( 1-0 FT )   Manchester United

Manchester United lost a pre season match today against ASEAN All-Stars in Malaysia and i begin to wonder if Amorim can actually elevate this team next season and the funniest part is that the friendly match was played by about 32 Manchester United players. I now see the reason why the management is planning on selling off 14 Manchester United players, i don't even think that the decision is to raise money for the club because most of these players are completely unproductive to the team so it's better they move out than being a waste in the club. Amorim really need to get busy in the transfer window and bring in players of good quality and charisma that will lead the team to winning matches.

When the match was over and Manchester United were humiliated with a score of 1-0, the classic reason when in an interview Ruben Amorin said that he and his players were not serious in the match. In order to improve the performance of his squad, it seems true what you said that Man United must immediately make a major overhaul in the summer transfer market.

If we look back at the glory days of Manchester United, at that time they were the most feared team in Europe, they became an unmatched club, they even competed against Europe XI or Europe all star, and Man United managed to win the match. and of course this is very different from this season, where let alone against Europe XI, they even lost against Asean All Star. This is very embarrassing, this is the worst season for Manchester United.

Amorim is not reasonable if he and his players didn't take the friendly game serious because considering how the team performed badly in the EPL last season, he is supposed to use the pre season games to show fans and football lovers that next season will be better for the team. A preseason match that 32 of Manchester United players played and he is still saying that they didn't take the match seriously, even if preseason games do not justify how a team will play in the upcoming season but there is this confidence that comes along with winning preseason games such that when the season starts properly they will still continue with that winning mentality but when they performed badly in preseason games, sometimes it affects the players when the season kicks off. I just hope Manchester United will not do same mistakes as they did during the time of Eric Ten Hag where they were believing in him to improve the teams performance but things got worst, if they see that Amorim cannot improve the teams performance next season it will be best they relief him of his duties and try another competent coach, maybe if they keep trying different coaches they might find the right one that fits the club.
