This should not have been the right statement to make because players work so hard to represent their individual countries on international duties and it is the responsibility of the football body of each country to take care of the well-being of those players throughout the international matches so why will the NFF be treating these players badly despite their sacrifices to the National team. Imagine how these players are well taken care of at the various leagues but when they come to their own Country they are being treated like trash without any formal recognition. If it was some European countries that have players like Victor Boniface, Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman they would have made sure that they give them the best treatment ever but here in Nigeria we don't really value the worth of these players in their respective leagues.
I agree with you. Let's take it to the workplace setting. If for example, an organization takes care of the welfare of their staff to the level of comfort that their is right and their salaries are also increased in the right proportion that they never have to worry about anything again, the performance of the staff and their organization will see a new leap beyond expectation because everyone will want to give in their best. The same common sense knowledge is carried into the Nigerian football or sport space. The NFF knows what to do but just don't want to do it.
