Because the account you are trying to unlocked had no email linked to it, since it was a company account, and people were suggesting you should use the email that was either used in registering the account or any email that was linked to it. But since there is none, it's still fine.
I am curious how you know that the account they are trying to unlock had no email linked to it. Based on the public information, the email is hidden in their profile. According to them, they used the project owner's email to register the account, which they do not want to disclose in public. While they are saying that they sent an email from the registered email, you are saying they have no email linked to their account. How did you find that information?
Also, how do you know that they send emails from
bspin@bspin.com? You're just making up your mind and writing whatever you think. You even concluded and said OP is to blame. So you already decided who to blame without even knowing what is their official email address and from where they sent the email.
